Well, today was an interesting week. But I am really excited for mothers day and I am ready to skype home. I don't really remember a lot of what happened. Except the WORST THING that could have ever happened. That happened this week.
We went on a New Missionary temple trip and it was really sad because after we were done with the session I found out that Elder Gomez went home. I am still shocked! I never saw that coming! He was such a great missionary! And I look at him and how great he was! what chance do I have out here if it was too much for him? That is the depressing thought that has been haunting me since Tuesday. I never saw him going home early. But this means that Me and Elder Rodriguez are flying down to Brazil together. (IF HE GETS HIS DUMB VISA! I am praying he will). So that has kinda had me down. But don't get the wrong idea. There is no way on this doomed earth that I am going home. I told the Lord that I will give him 18 months of my life. That is what I signed up for and that is how long he has me for. Whether it gets hard or I die. I have only 16 months left. Isn't that crazy.
So then experience number two. We were having a zone council meeting thing. And the Zone Leaders told us to wear something we could move around in but still missionary clothes. So I wore the blue skirt that grandma got me for Christmas. It is nice and flowery. Well I guess I also wore the silky garments too. Not on purpose. So we started doing a activity to improve our relationships with our companions. So we were doing a 3 legged race. Which was alright. We got half way done and Sister Morceli said "Sister Thomson! Lets jump. We can go faster" So we started to jump. And My silky skirt slid right down the silky garments. And Sister Morceli didn't stop and I was yelling at her because I lost my skirt. So yep. That happened on my mission. Of course, that would happen to me. Of all the people. And I even wore my hair down to look good. But that didn't matter. I still find a way to look bad. But at first I was alright because I am leaving to Brazil and I will never see these people again. NOPE! Do I have that wrong? We not only saw them today for Zone Sports but we also see them on Thursday for Zone Meeting and next Monday again for Zone sports and Zone service is coming up.....goooooo...... #mystinkinglife
So that was my week. Janet is getting baptized on the 30th so I will miss that. I am so sad, But I am happy for her! I miss y all but I will keep having embarrassing moments for next week!
Love Ya!
